While Lapis is considered a semi-precious gem, these are not the finest grade stones found in high-class jewelry stores (they are usually a more solid deep blue with tiny gold flecks - but often counterfeited).

Plus there are many "natural gemstone and rock" lovers that prefer these. In fact, there are many "rock" shops and annual "rock-hound" conventions people swarm to every year. 

While ours are polished but not top grade, they are a perfect size for setting in a pendant or ring finding (many are available online if you want to do it yourself, or check your local school or jeweler. 

These vary a great deal in appearance, so what you will get will essentially be "pot luck".  But as they say, never look a free gift horse in the mouth.

But we are not offering them just for looks, but for their alleged "powers". All but the adept monks of the Tibetan CLO monastery, wear them, keep them in their pockets, and sometimes all around their room.

Also, the famous American psychic, Edgar Cayce said: 

1. "The lapis lazuli, worn close to the body, would be well for the general health of the body." 

2. "Lapis Liqurius (Latin for lazuli?) would bring much that will act in a manner as would be termed PROTECTIVE."

3. "...this as we find, might be said to be a part of that same composition referred to; for it carries that vibration which will give strength to the body."

At least they are the real thing, which is very important. We know they are not counterfeit, because counterfeiters go for the most expensive, high grade ones, because that's where the big money is. Some of the counterfeits will be with the fake gold flecks, and some will just be solid silver. In either case they are just dyed rocks of some other worthless variety.

I also wanted to point out that while the monks consider the gemstones to ward off minor negative energies, "spirits", or psychic influences, they are not considered their "big guns".  That is something called "Thoth's Prayer", and is said to have never failed against any evil, or psychic attack.
