Protect yourself from harmful EMF waves
from your cellphone with Waveshield
You’ve likely heard about the dangers of using both wireless and cellular phones. I think most of us (especially visitors to this site) would agree that our “gut feeling” tells us there is indeed a very real health risk associated with exposing ourselves to this radiation. But who among us can quit using our phones? Not many. Now more than ever, it’s important for people to find ways to minimize their exposure to EMF pollution. It’s everywhere. One simple solution is a product we’ve discovered recently and tried out ourselves. We’d like to pass it on to you now.
It’s a little device that you put on the earpiece of your phone. Just stick it on there and forget about it. For those of you who are familiar with it, this thing is like a specially designed teeny faraday cage for your head. It doesn’t block what comes out of the antenna, but it does block nearly all of what comes out from the speaker area of your phone, which goes right into your ear canal and head. So that’s about a 50% total reduction in EMF attack on your cells, especially around the ear and the connection of the hearing mechanisms to the brain.
New medical data indicates that there is an increase in tumors within approximately a 2” area around the ear of many folks. What from? Obvious answer. Our phones. So blocking at least that portion is a really smart move. We’ve checked into this and recommend it for all of our readers, their families and their friends.
We’re going to be offering the air signal headsets soon as well, which we’ve heard really good things about. They don’t use a wire to run the signal up from the phone to your head, and that reduces your exposure. Pop in every so often to check for those, as we expect to have them in soon!
Anyway, we could post a mountain of info here for you regarding why it’s important to you and your loved ones to have these on all your phones, but I’ll just include a little bit, as I’m sure you basically already know the truth about cell phones and your brain.
Here’s an article from Harry Wallop, Consumer Affairs Correspondent from 2007:
People who have used their phone for a decade are twice as likely to be diagnosed with a tumour on a nerve connecting the ear to the brain, according to a group of scientists who have surveyed the results of 11 different studies.
Prof Kjell Mild, of Orbero University, Sweden, who is a Government adviser and led the research, said that children should not be allowed to use mobile phones because their thinner skulls and developing nervous system made them particularly vulnerable.
His study comes just a month after a separate piece of research, jointly funded by the Government and the mobile phone industry, found there was only a “very faint hint” of a link between long-term use of mobile phones and brain tumours.
This six-year, £8.8 million Mobile Telecommunications and Health Research (MTHR) programme came under fire for failing to investigate more thoroughly those who had used their phones for more than a decade.
Most scientists have had difficulty researching this area as mobile phone usage did not become widespread until the late 1990s..
Professor Mild said the danger may be even greater than his study suggests because 10 years is the minimum period needed by cancers to develop.
“I find it quite strange to see so many official presentations saying that there is no risk. There are strong indications that something happens after 10 years,” he said.
He has called for more research, especially into a possible link between mobile phones and Alzheimer’s disease, since “we have indications that it might be a problem”, as well as a possible link with Parkinson’s.
The need for greater research has been echoed by Prof Lawrie Challis, who led the MTHR research.
He has confirmed that a second wave of studies – funded by the Government and the phone industry – would include a long-term look at the health of 200,000 mobile users in Britain, Denmark, Sweden and Finland..
The Swedish scientists’ initial findings were unveiled in April but are published in full in the latest issue of the peer-reviewed journal Occupational Environmental Review.
They want a revision of the emission standard for mobiles and other sources of radiation, which they describe as “inappropriate” and “not safe”.
The international standard is designed merely to prevent harmful heating of living tissue or induced electrical currents in the body, and does not take into account the risk of getting cancer.
From the publication “This is London”, by James Chapman:
Skin rash? Blame your mobile. Dr. Hajime Kimata from Unitika Hospital in Kyoto carried out a study with 52 people who had a history of eczema and dermatitis. Half we exposed to mobile phone radiation for an hour and the other half was not. Dr. Kimata’s findings were published in the medical journal International Archives of Allergy and Immunology. The report states, “When we did blood tests, we found that the mobile phones had raised the levels of certain chemicals in the blood which provoke allergic reactions such as eczema, hay fever and asthma. There was a significant incresase in allergy levels which seemed to be linked to the use of mobile phones.”
Researchers in Sweden have expressed that mobile phones could damage key brain cells and trigger the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease. Tests on rats have shown that the radiation from mobile phones handsets appeared to damage areas of the brain associated with learning, memory and movement.
Some users of mobiles have complained that their cell phones either cause eczema outbreaks or make it worse. One man, Neil Warner, a building company manager said, “I’ve suffered from eczema for years. When I use the mobile for any length of time I do nitce it starts to bring out eczema on different parts, of my body. My skin will get red and sore – particularly near to where I was using the hanset. I’ve always had eczema on my ears and the phone seemed to make it worse. Mr Warner, from Woking, Surrey, says the problem has eased since he started using a device called the Waveshield, which is purported to help block emissions from mobile phones.
